Luxurious Living Rooms You Have to See

June 1, 2018

Lounging in the living room is a staple of any relaxing vacation, and while most rental homes and hotels have a living space, they’re not all created equal. Striking design elements, plush couches, and plenty of seating are just a few things that set a living room apart, but in the most luxurious spaces, these elements are expected. The following living room slideshow is for luxury lovers and relaxation seekers alike.

Three of the featured living spaces are from Italy. The Italian living room pictured below comes from the 11th-century luxury Villa Collina in Tuscany. With views of olive groves, vineyards, and the surrounding countryside, the Tuscan experience doesn’t get any better. Almost half of the featured living rooms come from Europe, a part of the world that’s known for its refined taste and historic architecture.

Another one of the living rooms comes from Batu Villa (pictured below) on Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands. This villa consists of one main house and four standalone suites scattered along the rocky coastline. The living room has an open-air design which allows the sounds and smells of the ocean to be a big part of the experience. Lounging in the Caribbean has never been more peaceful.

Regardless of how luxurious a living room is, they’re all designed for the same purpose: for family and friends to come together, unwind, and share authentic experiences. So whether it’s laughter around the fire or lounging together on the couch and reminiscing, living rooms truly are designed to be the hub of connection in the home, so when they’re beautifully luxurious, that’s really just the cherry on top.
